Dataset DB
Overview:
The dataset database was introduced in version 4.2.6 of RST Telemetry Software, this new feature allows users to upload RST data and setups to a public database for others to use. Each dataset db is unique to the game you have selected in the game selection dropdown. For example, if you have iRacing selected. You will only see Data/Setups uploaded for iRacing. If you have ACC selected, you will only see Data/Setups uploaded for ACC. An image of the dataset db is shown below:
To open the dataset db, after selecting a game, navigate to File > Uploaded Datasets.
Pro Data Subscription:
While anyone can upload and download data from the dataset db, some data may be marked with a “PRO” badge as shown above. This is data that has been uploaded by one of RST’s “Data Creators”. Because this data is uploaded as a service, your account will need a Data Subscription from RST’s Website which you can find here. Revenue generated from this subscription go straight to the data creators to support future uploads.
