RST Telemetry Documentation

Welcome:

Welcome to the Racing SimTools (RST) documentation site, here you will find information regarding the installation, and use of RST Telemetry Software.

RST Telemetry Software was developed due to the lack of serious data analysis tools on the sim racing market. Most software solutions were too simple (just showing raw data channels), or real world apps (MoTec, AIM, etc) that are not well suited for sim racing due to their lack of sim racing specific features, and complexity (to setup and use).

The Goal of RST Telemetry Software was to produce a Data Analysis Tool that could provide advanced analysis of sim racing data, but also be more accessible to the average sim racer. No longer do you need to know the math to create your workspace from scratch. You can simply use RST, which includes advanced math channels and is preconfigured to make it more simple on the user. Additionally, RST includes sim racing specific features like being able to broadcast data to your teammates, being able to upload setups/data to a database integrated into RST, and training overlays that are meant to aid with driver development by giving instantaneous feedback.
