Installation
Getting Started:
This page will guide you through the ithe installation process of RST Telemetry Software.
1) Download the Installer:
b) Once you get to the page below, click on “Download RST Telemetry”.
c) After clicking the “Download RST Telemetry” your browser should start downloading the Installer for RST, shown below:
2) Run the Installer:
a) Once the installer finishes downloading from the RST Website. Click on the installer to begin the installation process.
b) You may be presented with the prompt shown below,
* You are shown this prompt because RST does not have a Code Signing Cert. This Cert does not mean the application is unsecure, a Code Signing Cert is simply a paygate that disables this prompt that may scare some users. Code Signing Certs are very expensive and RST does not qualify.
c) If you would like to proceed with the Install, please click on “More info”
d) Then click on “Run Anyway”
e) If you are presented with a User Access Control (UAC) prompt, click “yes”
f) The installer will ask where you would like to install RST Telemetry Software too, by default RST will download to Program Files (x86), if you’d like to change where the installer installs RST Telemetry Software, click on Browse otherwise click the “Next” button in the bottom right.
g) If you’d like to create a desktop icon for RST, check the “Create a desktop shortcut” checkbox then press “Next” on the bottom right.
h) Click the“Install” button in the bottom right.
i) The installer will then begin to install RST
j) Once the install has been completed you will be presented with the final screen, where you can simply click “Finish”
